*In 2020, Amber Rose debuted her face tattoo tribute to her two minor children, Sebastian Taylor Thomaz (Bash) — whom she shares with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa; and Slash Electric Alexander Edwards (Slash), with ex-boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards.
Her forehead tattoo says “Bash” and “Slash” written in cursive.
“Not everybody is gonna get a face tatt. That’s what separates me from them,” Rose previosuly said in an interview with Stylish magazine.
When she first shared a photo of her tattoo on Instagram, it received mixed reactions. Some people praised the design, others criticized it. Rose remains unaffected by the opinions about her tattoo.
“I don’t live my life for other people… If I let people affect me in that way, I would just be miserable every day. I wouldn’t be the great mom that I am. I would be depressed and I would be filled with anxiety,” Rose added.
“I love my body, I’m cool with my body and I do what I want with my body,” she explained. “You just gotta be who you are and if someone likes you, they’ll join the bandwagon; and if not, they’re just not for you. It’s not really a big deal for me.”
The forehead tattoo is under new scrutiny following Rose’s appearance at the Republican National Convention, where the model shared her support for Donald Trump at the event in Milwaukee.
“I’m here tonight to tell you, no matter your political background, that the best chance we have to give our babies a better life is to elect Donald Trump president of the United States,” Rose said on stage.
The former reality TV noted that “the media has lied to us” about Trump. “I know this because for a long time, I believed those lies,” she added.
