*With heavy hearts, the family of KeKe Jabbar, a cherished star of the reality TV series “Love & Marriage: Huntsville,” has announced her funeral arrangements following her untimely passing on July 2 at 42.
The family will hold two public viewings at the Royal Funeral Home on Oakwood Avenue in Huntsville (Alabama). The first viewing will occur on July 7 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by a second viewing on July 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. These viewings will allow friends, fans, and loved ones to pay their respects to the beloved reality star.
The funeral service for KeKe will be held on July 8 at 11 a.m. at the Fellowship of Faith Church on North Memorial Parkway. The family hopes the service will honor the bright spirit and the joy KeKe brought to those who knew or watched her.
In the early reports, the cause of KeKe’s death was unknown. However, JoAnn Jenkins, a YouTuber and close family friend, has shared more details about the tragedy.
“Keke did not overdose, Keke did not take her own life. Keke loved life. Keke was not ready to leave life. She wasn’t ready to leave her children, her husband or her family,” Jenkins revealed, putting to rest any speculations about KeKe’s mental state at the time of her passing.
Jenkins implied that KeKe’s death was the result of carbon monoxide poisoning, detailing a heartbreaking sequence of events.
“Last night, she turned her car off and she fell asleep. Her car was not functioning [and there] was something already wrong with her car,” Jenkins explained.
It appears that KeKe may have parked her malfunctioning car in her garage, where she fell asleep with the engine running and the garage door closed. This tragic mistake led to a buildup of deadly carbon monoxide.
According to Jenkins, KeKe’s husband found her the next morning, believing she was asleep in the car. His frantic attempts to revive her were in vain.
“So, seven-something this morning, her husband goes to the garage. He sees Keke, what he thinks is asleep in the car. He tries to get her attention. He opens [the car] up. She isn’t breathing. Her husband, her life partner, her best friend tried to bring his wife back, the mother of his children, and he couldn’t,” Jenkins recounted somberly.
Jenkins was emphatic in her clarification that KeKe’s passing was accidental, not a result of any intentional act.
“Keke passed from carbon monoxide poisoning. That’s it. That is all. My sister didn’t want to leave this Earth, she didn’t want to leave her kids. She didn’t want to leave her husband,” Jenkins emphasized. “There was no turmoil going on in her life. She had a lot of great things to look forward to.”
The news of KeKe Jabbar’s death has touched many who followed her life on “Love & Marriage: Huntsville,” as well as her friends and family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of those she impacted with her kindness, vibrant personality, and the love she had for her family and friends.
