*On February 2nd, UnitedMasters, the leading global music distribution platform, kicked off GRAMMY weekend with their annual GRAMMY concert, “A Celebration of Independence” in Los Angeles.
The concert was held at the Hollywood Palladium and featured performances by some of the hottest acts in music, including Nigeria’s Davido, South Africa’s Uncle Waffles, Dominican Republic’s Tokischa, and NLE Choppa.
A star-studded guest list included Nas, will.i.am, Doug E. Fresh, Jessie Reyez, A.V. Rockwell, Kat Graham, Luke Lawal, Jae Murphy, Jozzy, RMR, ScarLip, and many more, making it a night to remember.
For the second year running, UnitedMasters continued its annual GRAMMY celebration, emphasizing its commitment to creating spaces that celebrate global independence within the music industry.
The concert was a tribute to the power of independent music and the pioneering artists shaping the culture.
This year marked a significant milestone for UnitedMasters, featuring international acts for the first time, solidifying their impact and representation in the global independent artist movement.
“To show up again during music’s biggest weekend with independent artists representing where music is headed globally was an unforgettable moment,” said Steve Stoute, founder and CEO of UnitedMasters. Our annual GRAMMY celebration culminates all that we stand for at UnitedMasters in creating spaces for independent artists to thrive and showing them their place in this industry is enormous.”
Diageo, along with Bulleit Frontier Whiskey, has been the official spirits partner of “A Celebration of Independence” for the past two years, supporting the Pioneer Project that backs the next generation of creators. VIP guests this year enjoyed exclusive access to Johnnie Walker Blue Label, another Diageo brand.
Jesse Damashek, SVP Marketing, Whiskey and Liqueurs at Diageo, said, “Though the celebration lasted just one evening, we believe the industry executives, artists, and fans in attendance should carry on the Celebration of Independence beyond the festivities via our newly released playlist.”
The event continued the tradition set by last year’s celebration, which was attended by stars like Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Nas, DJ Khaled, Wiz Khalifa, Future, Daniel Kaluuya, Damson Idris, Gayle King, Jermaine Dupri, Doug E. Fresh, Koffee, Eric Nam, and more.
This event followed UnitedMasters’ groundbreaking expansion into Nigeria, highlighting the platform’s global impact on emerging African artists. With over 2 million independent artists on board, UnitedMasters continues its mission to provide artists worldwide with a stage to showcase and grow their talents.
