*50 Cent is working on a sports drama about the Black female power agent for Philadelphia Eagles player Jalen Hurts.
We reported previously that Nicole Lynn, 34, made history as the first Black woman to represent an NFL quarterback in the Super Bowl. Lynn took on Hurts as her latest client ahead of the big game on Feb. 12. She contacted Hurts directly on social media and pitched herself — and he welcomed her with open arms.
“Hey, have you picked an agent? If not, I’d love to link,” she wrote to Hurts on Instagram, according to Sports Illustrated.
Despite the world of sports agents being a male-dominated industry, Hurts did not let that impact his decision.

“I know the agent world in the NFL, and all sports, is very male-dominated,” Hurts explained to Sports Illustrated. “But Nicole was really on top of her stuff. She was prepared.”
He added. “She knew what she was talking about. She was hungry. And she was determined. And I feel that determination like that never rests,” Hurts explained.
“Once you come across such a determined individual, that just hits me a little different,” he said.
Congrats to Nicole Lynn for being the first black woman agent to represent an NFL quarterback (Jalen Hurts) in the Super Bowl.

Hurts recently signed a $255 million, five-year contract extension with the Eagles, making him the highest-paid player annually in NFL history. Hurts played for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team in 2018, where he led them to an SEC championship game victory over Georgia. This season, he led the Eagles to Super Bowl LVII.
Lynn was 26 years old when she signed her first client, Yahoo reports. She is also the “first female agent to represent NFL agency PlayersRep, which was later acquired by Lil Wayne’s Young Money APAA Sports Agency, in 2015,” the outlet writes.
“Any time someone thinks of an agent, they’re gonna think of me,” Lynn said, according to NBC News. “The first person that’s gonna come to their mind is a Black woman. I’m the Jerry Maguire — that is who I am.”
50 Cent seems to think so too as the rapper/TV producer is creating a sports agent drama inspired by Lynn’s life, The Daily Mail reports. According to Fif, STARZ turned down the chance to develop the project.
On Saturday, 50 Cent took to Instagram to announce, “Nicole Lynn is no joke i told STARZ, they didn’t listen. They paid for development then had a change of heart. Now you know i’m gonna sell this show in no time. I don’t miss.”
