*Singer Mariah Carey has been making the world happy through her timeless songs. She now wants to make it even happier through her Black Irish liquor. After successfully rolling out her Black Irish Cream Liqueur brand in the US in 2021, Carey has now trained her eyes on the world stage, beginning with South America and the Caribbean. She heads there this Spring to launch what will be her brand’s first international distribution.
In a news release, Carey shared her joy with her fans.
“I am ecstatic to extend the reach of my cream-liqueur Black Irish to South America and the Caribbean,” she said. “My fans there have supported and given so much to me, so of course I wanted to create an opportunity for them to enjoy this delicious liqueur!”
Carey’s creamy flavors include Original Irish Cream Liqueur, Salted Caramel Irish Cream Liqueur, and White Chocolate Irish Cream Liqueur. They align with her “Queen Of Christmas” title, for they perfectly suit holidaying revelers.

Carey’s father was of Black and Venezuelan descent, while her mother has Irish blood. The drink is therefore in recognition of her mixed heritage. The drink, which was crafted in Ireland, is made with aged Irish whiskey and dairy from Irish farms.
Taking to Twitter, the music star tweeted, “Introducing BLACK IRISH. Two years in the making. Truly a cause for celebration!!!” “It’s Like That.”
Black consumers account for 12% of alcohol sales, yet only a paltry 2% of Black entrepreneurs are in the spirits industry, according to research.
Carey’s Black Irish will be distributed in locations throughout Mexico, Brazil, and the Bahamas, with more markets added.
