Ahead of Lindsey Webster’s new album, ‘Reasons’ (that will hit the streets September 2 on the Shanachie Entertainment label) comes the single ‘Stay With Me’. This smoky streetwise R & B gem features the legendary Randy Brecker on trumpet plus an understated rap from Kev Choice that really hits the spot.
‘Stay With Me’ is the second track to be serviced to radio and follows the sumptuously jazzy ‘I Didn’t Mean It’ that featured Brian Culbertson on trombone, Lil John Roberts on Drums, Lenny Castro on Percussion, Chris Snowden on bass, Chris Harris on guitar and Lindsay’s long time writing partner Keith Slattery on keys.
Indeed ‘Stay With Me’ is another Webster and Slattery composition and is well worth checking out.
