*A new report from the New York Times claims Donald Trump calls Vice President Kamala Harris a “bi*ch” behind closed doors.
The report includes insights from over a dozen people close to Trump and highlights his difficulty in crafting an attack against Harris. The article also claims Trump believes that Democrats’ “weird” label only applies to his running mate, JD Vance.
Per the Times: “Indeed, Mr. Trump has often been in a foul mood the past few weeks. He has ranted about Ms. Harris. He has called her “nasty,” on “Fox & Friends,” and a “bitch,” repeatedly, in private, according to two people who heard the remark on different occasions. (“That is not language President Trump has used to describe Kamala, and it’s not how the campaign would characterize her,” Mr. Cheung said.)”
According to Mediaite, Trump noted at a recent rally in Montana that he’d rather run against Harris than President Joe Biden.
“Do you think he’s happy? I don’t think so. He’s not too happy. You know, they took it away from him, they really did. The guy had 14 million votes. She had none, but I’d rather run against her. I think she’s easier to beat I really do,” the former president said.
Meanwhile, Trump and Harris have agreed to participate in a debate on September 10, to be broadcast on ABC, as announced by the network on Aug. 8.
We reported earlier that this announcement follows closely on the heels of a Trump news conference held in Palm Beach, Florida, where he proposed three debates with the Vice President.
Initially, Trump had committed to a September 10 debate with Biden. However, after Biden’s unexpected withdrawal from the Democratic ticket, Trump redirected his focus to debating Harris.
