In an emotional and uplifting post, the singer shared his journey and reflected on the significance of the achievement: “I am still going strong, 2 months sober,” he wrote. “Maybe seems like a lil time to you, but to me and most, it’s a lifetime.”
Ginuwine, whose real name is Elgin Baylor Lumpkin, expressed pride in his progress and encouraged others to seek help when dealing with addiction.
“So I say don’t be ashamed, reach out for help like I did because a lot of times, well, most times, you need that support!!!!” he shared. I stood TEN toes down.”
